  • The Swiss Federal Supreme Court has upheld an appeal of Michael Kunz and overturned a decision of the Anti-Money Laundering Control Authority (Case 2A.62/2007, November 30, 2007).

  • As of July 1st 2006, the two renowned law firms of Kellerhals in Berne, from whom KUNZ COMPLIANCE has rented business space, and Hess Dallafior in Zurich merged to become one of the top law offices of Switzerland under the common brand of KellerhalsHess with some 30 lawyers in Berne and Zurich.

  • In November 2002, the SFBC released to the public a draft Circular on Public Advertisement for Investment Funds. A summary of its content, provided by Michael Kunz, is now available in the News Section of Volume 18, Issue 3, of the Journal of International Banking Law and Regulation, Sweet & Maxwell (March 2003).

  • A report of Michael Kunz on a new Corporate Governance Directive of the SWX Swiss Enchange was recently published in the News Section of Volume 4, Issue 6, of the Journal of International Financial Markets, Law and Regulation, Sweet & Maxwell, London.
  • In the News Section of Volume 4, Issue 5 of the Journal of International Financial Markets, Law and Regulation, Sweet & Maxwell, Michael Kunz reported on the publication of a draft money laundering ordinance by the Swiss Federal Banking Commission.
  • In July, 2002, Michael Kunz published an article on combating the funding of terrorism through the Swiss financial system in the News Section of the Journal of International Financial Markets, Law and Regulation, Sweet & Maxwell, London.
  • Michael Kunz began as Swiss country correspondent for the Journal of International Financial Markets, Law and Regulation in January 2002. The Journal of International Financial Markets is published bimonthly by Sweet & Maxwell, London. His first article, entitled “Switzerland - Home or Host Country for Cross-Border Electronic Finance Services?”, was published in March 2002.
